We may have a venue for future meetings.
 
We have rejected all pubs, including the Toxteth , as we want to be a Philosophy Cafe .
 
Up to now we have checked out a number of cafes in Glebe feeling reasonably sure that we can find one in Glebe Point Road, due to the prevalence of second storied cafes. Until now, only the Well Connected, next door to the Fair Trade Cafe, is agreeable to hosting us at the old price of $6, which includes a coffee or tea. Unfortunately the rooms upstairs are not ideally arranged for our style of meeting.
 
Essen on Broadway has a great upstairs, but their meals are a bit expensive , $20 min, average about $24  Good German meals. We feel however, that the number of meals would drop and they would want more money down the track.

As we have not found one yet in Glebe, we have been looking elsewhere, as we feel a change of suburb may add something different. The Berkelouw cafes/wine bars in Leichhardt and Newtown seem okay, but may be a bit expensive with parking always a problem.

We have now found a good cafe in up and coming Dulwich Hill , the Lastdrop Cafe. www.lastdropcafe.com.au The cafe is at 538 Marrickville Road next door to the in-coming GleeBooks.
 
The new arrangements would include:

• The first Tuesday night of the month starting July 6.
• $6 per attendee which entitles you to a coffee or tea. $4 to the cafe, $2 to Philo Agora.
• The evening would be exclusively for Philo Agora. The cafe closes at 5:30 and would reopen after 6 for us.
• Savouries and cake available on the night.
• Expansive space ideally suited to Philo Agora.
• Plenty of parking at Dulwich Hill.
• Buses virtually at the door.
• Other eateries nearby.

We would welcome your opinion on this proposed move and will take all suggestions on board,
